Plitvice lakes National Park

Connected by waterfalls, circled by forest and crisscrossed with wooden bridges, the Plitvice lakes are a nature lover’s dream.

Plitvice Lakes National Park is the largest, oldest and also the most visited national park in Croatia. As far back as 1979, Plitvice has been included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The park includes the source of the Korana River surrounded by dense forests. In addition to the magically beautiful lakes and forests, the park has many caves, springs and flowery meadows. By far the greatest attraction of this unique national park is the hub of 16 small and large lakes connected by intertwining waterfalls.

At the Plitvice lakes, you may wish to go hiking, follow an educational or recreational trail, ride a bike or simply take pictures of the magnificent beauty that nature shares. Whatever you decide to do, you’ll always leave with a strong impression. The ticket price includes transport, the panoramic train and boat ride.
